We encourage you to design your study with a plan for data sharing. Contact the Child Trauma Data Archives team at any point in this process about your plans to contribute your dataset to the PACT/R or CTPT Data Archive at the conclusion of your study.
To prepare for data sharing:
- Conduct your study with appropriate ethics board approval
- Include informed consent / assent that allows sharing of de-identified / anonymized data
- Organize your data and create a clear data dictionary
- Document your processes for deriving study variables from raw data
- Carefully document any modifications of standard measures
- Set up data files consistent with Child Trauma Data Archives data standards
- variable names and formats
- naming assessment time points
